Tramadol - one of medicines great delights?
Recovering from shoulder surgery and have been prescribed Tramadol, amongst other things.

Was fine for the first week or so, but took two Sunday morning and spent the next 4 hours feeling like I was coming up on an e. Pretty cool feeling and reminded me of nights at Camden Palace.

Was also prescribed Oxynorm, which I believe is a similar type of drug with similar side effects, or bonuses.

Has anyone taken both of these, and was one better than the other?

The dog got hit by a van the other day and he was also prescribed Tramadol, so me and him have been getting off our faces each morning.

Fuck knows what it feels like for a dog. He's never been to Camden Palace or taken e.

Peach wasn't. Well, not that I noticed anway.

There was a funny little middle-aged Chinese man in fluro and a dog collar there every single time though.

I don't think you should have been driving a van on tramadol.

Had a dodgy E in there once, fucking brutal. Me and my mates were fucked for about a week, never had a downer like it.

Had some good times in there though.

I have Tramadol for managing my knee and ankle problems. It gives me hallucinations and is incredibly addictive. Don't take it for too long or you will end up going through nasty withdrawal symptoms like a junkie.

Side effects are different for everyone but I don't like the ones I get so only use it when pain is acute and nothing else is touching it.

Along with Co-Codamol, Gabapentin and Brufen, I was on ten Tramadol a day when I fist damaged my spine...it is without doubt a wonderful drug, though it did cause a good deal of spewing up when first taken.
It's a 10/10 from me, even better than Oramorph.

Had Morphine once after getting my hand caught in a printing press, kicks all other pain killers into touch

I just felt numb with Oramorph, unlike the buzzy, trippy sensations associated with Tramadol.

Speaking of hallucinations, the morning the dog got hit, I woke up because the baby was starting to stir in the bedroom. Went out to the lounge to let the missus know, but she wasn't there. The dog was and there was blood all over the place. All over the carpet and the sofas. Wondered what the hell had happened to the wife or if I was in the middle if some kind of Tramadol hallucination.

Was a bit much for my drug-confused brain to handle.

DF 118's were also something to be savoured, though I haven't seen them in years.

DF 118s?

Dealer bloke by the name of Mick the Stick once offered us some saying "You don't sleep three nights and get loads more done. Make your nose itch, mind."

I declined.

Had some ketamine recently, now that gear is powerful..stronger than morphine

bruuuno 10:08 Mon Feb 29
Re: Tramadol - one of medicines great delights?
Ketamine is now used instead of morphine by the british army as it doesn't suppress breathing like morphing does.

Frantic that's a blast from the past I remember going to a few on a Sunday afternoon at the end
